THIRD ANNUAL CHRISTIAN HERITAGE CONFERENCE
We will be holding the third Christian Heritage conference on Friday 9th March. This will take place at The Well, Hospital Road, Retford, from 10.30am to approx. 4pm.
All those with an interest in Christian heritage work are invited to attend this FREE event. There will be a small charge for lunch if you opt for this.
The success of the conference depends on the quality of contributions, so please also consider giving a presentation on your own work and particularly to consider sharing what has worked well for your own organisation.
We will try to organise some discussion groups around specific themes – so please make some suggestions as to what you are interested in. Possible subjects include ‘organising popular events’, celebrating missionary stories and the training of volunteers. These conferences are organised for mutual support so please feel free to make suggestions, invite others, and promote the event.
The following day, Saturday 10th March, we will be holding our annual RELIGIOUS TOLERANCE FORUM. Speakers booked so far include the historical adviser to the National Civil War Museum and one of the Trustees of the National Holocaust Centre at Laxton, which now has a global work with a focus on genocide. Other speakers will be announced. This is also FREE.
